Enjoy our Celebration of Performance through Making Music.

The Music section of the Festival, through providing a variety of performance opportunities, aims to foster live music making. In order to keep abreast of the musical interests of people of all ages but particularly the music curriculum in schools today, we constantly seek to move with the times, deleting and adding classes as appropriate. For the third year we are entering the area of rock music, by offering a Blues Jam workshop and providing opportunities for the performance of rock music.

We are your local Festival and seek to provide the opportunities you need to perform in a public environment. There are seven days of classes and musical events, so come and join the fun.

Take a look at what we offer - whatever your age, whatever your instrument you will find a wide spectrum of classes for solo and group performance, including competitive and non competitive opportunities. Full details may be found in the syllabus, but are summarized below.
