Opportunity for singers

If you enjoy singing and performing, try one of our classes.
There are three main age groups:

Juniors: 15 years and under (see class details in the syllabus p.48-49).

Young Adults: 16 – 19 years (see details in syllabus p.50).

Adult: 20 years and over (see syllabus p.51)

In addition to CLASSICAL MUSIC we offer JAZZ and POP, MUSICALS, FILM and FOLK, as well as OPERA and ART SONGS. We also have classes for duets and trios.We are curerently working on updating the syllabus for 2013 and are considering the introduction of new classes such as MUSIC HALL. Special award for young adults age 16- 19

The May King Award, and prize of £100 is awarded to the outstanding singer in the Young Adult section. 

Special award for adults age 20 and over

The Muriel King Vocal Award. This trophy, and prize of £150, is awarded to the outstanding singer in the Adult classes.

The May King Memorial Trophy. This trophy, and prize of £75, is awarded to the outstanding singer in the Art Song classes.
