The Festival acknowledges the current interest in Musical Theatre and we are pleased to offer you a rare opportunity to perform in the prestigious setting of the magnificent Banqueting Room in Bath’s Guildhall. In 2011 we introduced a whole new range of classes allowing performers to showcase their talents across the three disciplines of Drama, Song and Dance. We hope that by providing a Festival platform for individuals and groups to have their work professionally adjudicated that we are addressing the increasing expectation of Examination Boards and Drama schools for all-round performers. Equally, for those concerned with performance solely as a leisure activity, it is always useful to have some constructive advice on how to build and improve their skills.
Because we think that the performance itself is the most important aspect of any presentation we are recommending that entrants use only the minimum of props and a suggestion of costume.
