Debby Holt

Debby Holt is married with five children who are more or less grown-up. She has a degree in History from Exeter University and a post-graduate Certificate of Education from Goldsmith's College, London. While bringing up her family, she worked part-time as a supply teacher and in recent years has taught a variety of creative writing courses. She has an uneasy feeling she has learnt more from her students than they have from her. She has had over sixty short stories published at home and abroad and her fifth novel, Recipe for Scandal comes out on January 7th 2010. She firmly believes that writing is the best occupation in the world and that enthusiasm and persistence are the only qualifications.
